Domenick Tirabassi, PsyD (he/him) is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Founder & Clinical Director of Tosa Psychological Services. In addition to leading the practice, he maintains a select clinical caseload focused on trauma treatment and its impact on emotions, relationships, and long-term functioning.
His work is grounded in EMDR therapy and relational psychotherapy, emphasizing helping clients move beyond insight and into meaningful, lasting changes. He also provides training and clinical supervision in EMDR therapy and trauma-focused care.
Many who seek his mental health therapy are high-functioning, responsible, and outwardly composed individuals. They come not because they can’t function, but because something unresolved continues to shape how they feel, relate, or carry stress—often in ways that haven’t shifted despite insight, effort, or prior therapy. His style is deeply relational and direct, with careful pacing and a steady, confident approach to the work—helping clients feel understood quickly while remaining oriented toward lasting change.
Dr. Tirabassi provides private-pay psychological services in person at the Tosa Psychological Services clinic and via telehealth in all PSYPACT states. Tosa Psychological Services is designed for those who value discretion, continuity, and specialized psychological expertise.

Dr. Tirabassi completed a trauma-focused residency at SSM Health, where he later served as a Clinical Supervisor and Training Committee Member. His advanced clinical training includes EMDR therapy, EMDRIA-approved EMDR training, and trauma-focused psychotherapy, which are essential components in providing effective psychological services and mental health therapy, especially in trauma treatment.

PTSD & CPTSD, Dissociative Disorders, Depression & Anxiety, and Spirituality / Religious Harm are all areas where a clinical psychologist can provide essential psychological services. For neurodivergent adults and complex thinkers, mental health therapy is crucial, and EMDR therapy can be an effective approach in trauma treatment.

Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology offers advanced programs for those pursuing a career as a clinical psychologist. Students can earn a Doctor of Clinical Psychology or a Master of Clinical Psychology, both of which prepare graduates to provide essential psychological services, including mental health therapy and trauma treatment through methods like EMDR therapy.
Loyola University of Chicago provides a foundation for understanding human behavior with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Additionally, students can enhance their education with minors in Classical Studies and Catholic Studies, which complement their knowledge in psychological practices and mental health therapy.
