Parent consultation is a short-term, supportive service designed to help parents better understand their child, their relationship dynamics, and their own responses. It is not therapy for the child and does not require the child’s participation. Instead, it focuses on giving parents insight, language, and practical tools so they can show up with more clarity, confidence, and steadiness.

Led by Dr. Jamie Camphouse
Dr. Jamie offers parent consultation for parents of infants, toddlers, and young children who want support navigating behavior, emotional regulation, attachment, and family dynamics. This consultation space helps parents better understand what is developmentally typical, what may be stress- or nervous-system-driven, and how to respond in ways that support both the child and the parent.

Led by Dr. Gabrielle Finta
Dr. Gabrielle offers consultation for parents and caregivers of adult children who are struggling to launch, maintain employment, or navigate intense emotional and relational challenges. Many of the families she works with feel stuck between wanting to support their adult child and feeling unsure how to do so without reinforcing patterns that keep everyone overwhelmed.
These consultations are designed to help caregivers better understand what their adult child may be experiencing emotionally and behaviorally, while also clarifying how family dynamics can either support or complicate progress.
Her work with caregivers often includes psychoeducation around emotional regulation, relational patterns, and the skills an adult child may be learning or could benefit from learning in a DBT-based treatment setting. Dr. Gabrielle helps parents make sense of confusing or distressing behaviors through a clinical, compassionate lens, while also offering guidance on communication, boundaries, and expectations that align with long-term growth and stability. When appropriate, she may recommend a comprehensive assessment to help inform a clear, individualized treatment plan for the adult child.
Parent consultation with Dr. Gabrielle is highly tailored and intentionally paced. These services are well suited for families seeking a thoughtful, structured, and nuanced approach rather than quick fixes or generic advice. The goal is to help caregivers feel more grounded, informed, and confident as they support their adult child’s path toward greater independence and emotional stability.
