Parent consultation is a short-term, supportive service designed to help parents gain a better understanding of their child's behavior, their relationship dynamics, and their own responses. This service is not therapy for the child and does not require the child's participation. Instead, it focuses on providing parents with valuable child behavior guidance, insight, language, and practical tools so they can engage with more clarity, confidence, and steadiness.

Led by Dr. Jamie Camphouse, this consultation space offers supportive services for parents of infants, toddlers, and young children seeking guidance in navigating child behavior. Dr. Jamie provides expert advice on emotional regulation, attachment, and family dynamics, helping parents understand what is developmentally typical and what may stem from stress or nervous-system responses. This supportive environment empowers parents to respond effectively in ways that benefit both themselves and their children.
Common focus areas include:
- Big emotions, meltdowns, and regulation
- Parenting through anxiety, ADHD, or neurodivergence
- Attachment and relationship repair
- Parent burnout and nervous system overwhelm
- Building realistic and supportive routines and boundaries

Led by Dr. Gabrielle Finta, consultations are available for parents and caregivers of adult children who are struggling to launch, maintain employment, or navigate the intense emotional and relational challenges associated with BPD. Many families she collaborates with feel caught between their desire to provide support for their adult child and their uncertainty about how to do so without reinforcing patterns that keep everyone overwhelmed.
These consultations are designed to offer child behavior guidance, helping caregivers to better understand the emotional and behavioral experiences of their adult child, while also clarifying how family dynamics can either facilitate or hinder progress.
Dr. Gabrielle’s work often includes psychoeducation on emotional regulation, relational patterns, and the skills that an adult child may be learning or could benefit from in a DBT-based treatment setting. She helps parents interpret confusing or distressing behaviors through a clinical and compassionate lens, while also providing guidance on communication, boundaries, and expectations that align with long-term growth and stability. When appropriate, she may suggest a comprehensive assessment to inform a clear, individualized treatment plan for the adult child.
Parent consultation with Dr. Gabrielle is highly tailored and intentionally paced. These supportive services for parents are well suited for families seeking a thoughtful, structured, and nuanced approach rather than quick fixes or generic advice. The ultimate goal is to empower caregivers to feel more grounded, informed, and confident as they support their adult child’s journey toward greater independence and emotional stability.
