Raising Little Humans: Parenting Workshops in Wauwatosa

Our mission is to support caregivers with evidence-based guidance, community, and compassion — helping parents feel less alone, more confident in tough moments, and equipped to raise emotionally safe, connected kids. Together, we’re breaking cycles of shame and building a village of understanding and resilience.

Sponsored by Curiosity Corner, our workshops will be held at 2366 N. 80th St in Wauwatosa at the Presbyterian Church/ Preschool. *not faith affiliated

Workshop Schedule

6/11 INSIGHTS & ANSWERS: LIVE Q & A

Join us for Insights & Answers: A Live Therapist Q&A, a relaxed, supportive space for parents and caregivers to ask real questions about the challenges of raising little humans. Together, we’ll explore evidence-based strategies, emotional insights, and practical tools to help you feel more confident, connected, and less alone on your parenting journey.

12/9 WIRED FOR WONDER: UNDERSTANDING YOUR PRESCHOOLERS BRAIN

Your preschooler’s brain is wired for wonder...and sometimes, for chaos! In this workshop, we’ll explore what’s really happening beneath those big feelings, wild energy, and endless questions. You’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of how your child’s brain develops and practical tools to respond with empathy, patience, and connection.

1/13 BONDING BLUEPRINTS: PARENTING STYLES & ATTACHMENT

Every parent has a blueprint for connection , often written long before we had children of our own. Bonding Blueprints helps you understand how your attachment patterns and parenting style shape your relationship with your child. Together, we’ll explore how to build stronger, more secure bonds that nurture trust, safety, and connection in your family.

2/19 CARING CONVERSATIONS: EMOTION COACHING AT HOME

Feelings can be big  for kids and parents. Caring Conversations: Emotion Coaching at Home explores how to turn emotional moments into opportunities for connection and growth. Learn how to validate your child’s feelings, set boundaries with empathy, and build your child’s emotional intelligence through everyday interactions.

BRIDGING WORLDS: PARENT/PRESCHOOLER COMMUNICATION

DATE TBD

Join us for Bridging Worlds: Parent–Preschooler Communication, a workshop designed to help caregivers better understand how young children think, feel, and communicate. Through the lens of child development and attachment science, we’ll explore strategies to promote cooperation, reduce frustration, and build more attuned, meaningful interactions at home.

SUPPORTING ALL KINDS OF BRAINS: SENSORY NEEDS, EMOTION REGULATION, AND ADVOCACY

DATE TBD

Join us for Supporting All Kinds of Brains, a workshop exploring the intersection of sensory processing, emotional regulation, and caregiver advocacy. We’ll discuss how children experience and respond to sensory input, how regulation challenges may appear as “behavior,” and how parents can use neuroscience-informed strategies to foster safety, understanding, and effective collaboration with educators and providers.

SUMMER SURVIVAL GUIDE

DATE TBD

Summer can be magical… and messy. Summer Survival Guide is a workshop designed to help caregivers navigate the long days, big feelings, and changing routines that come with the season. Learn strategies to support regulation, structure, and connection, while still keeping things light, flexible, and fun for the whole family.
